Whenever I received a card, I would dream of places to go from the pictures on the front. I grew up in rural Western Australia, and the cards and letters I received were from all sorts of places: Tasmania, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and Sweden. 

I’m sure receiving all those cards with pictures from faraway places inspired my quest for travel and adventure. 

And we hope that our cards inspire the receiver a little too, and remember, giving is often a better feeling than receiving (though card receivers are often card givers too, sooo … expect a satisfying view when you next open your letterbox.)

Paul and I started JR Cards with the idea of connection to each other and to place. 

The photographs on the front of the cards are all taken by both Paul and me and all taken in Australia or New Zealand. The cards are printed on paper you can write on (none of that shiny, non-absorptive stuff) and printed in Australia.

I hope you enjoy sending them as much as I know the receiver will love reading them.
